"Water Demon" marks the debut of the Paranaense band The Knights.
Formed in Matinhos in 2025, the band The Knights presents its first single, "Water Demon", a composition by Emerson "Devil's Preacher" and Ariane Queiroz that combines Traditional Heavy Metal and Progressive Rock.
Inspired by the movies "Godzilla" (1954) and "Godzilla: Minus One" (2023), the track uses science fiction to reflect on the consequences of nuclear weapons and the destruction caused by humanity.
The sound brings together influences from Rush, Genesis, Budgie, Dio, Nektar, Death, and Blood Incantation, with a climatic atmosphere, direct guitars, and a strong connection to the ocean. The band is preparing a new single for the end of the year and working on completing a full album.
